“Ye are Gods”

Genesis 3:22 KJV - And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Because of the consciousness we have gained though our understanding and differentiation between light and dark or good and evil; we are a god or “as” God and can also come to live through the “tree of life”.  “God” can be seen as just an entity, force, or power that creates both “good” and “evil”.

Isaiah 41:23 “Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye [are] gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold [it] together.”

We have the ability to comprehend and to do good or evil.

Psalm 82:5-6 “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.”

We are all gods, and we are also all children of the most High God, who can be seen as the all-encompassing power of the universe. But we do not truly recognize what this entails or means, even though “God” is trying to tell us this.

John 10:34-36 “Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?”

Jesus was trying to tell them that they all are children of God, not just him… But they would not hear. Just as is says in Psalm 82:5, “they know not, neither will they understand…”

James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

Psalm 46:10 ”Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”

Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us…”

It says in Psalm 46:10 to “know that I am God…”. To translate it just as it says, each one of us has the power of God [in us] (i.e. I am God), therefore, use it wisely.

Genesis 3:22 “And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:”

Isaiah 45:7 “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.”

The allegories of the Bible tell us, that God (elohiym or all the powers that be), the LORD (YHWH) God (the almighty Father of all), and/or Christ (the anointing of the LORD God) all abide within us, among us, and through us. It is a power that worketh in us. This power makes us a “god” (elohiym); it makes us a part of the almighty and most high God that is all and in all. We are a part of the powers of God, therefore, capable of creating evil or good.
