Exo 33:19-20 KJV] 19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy. 20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

Man cannot see the LORD and live.

[Pro 11:30 KJV] 30 The fruit of the righteous [is] a tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise.

The righteous bear fruit from the Tree of Life.

[Pro 13:12 KJV] 12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.

And hope can bring forth the Tree of Life.

[Psa 31:24 KJV] 24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

And the heart of those that hope in the LORD shall be made strong. It is good to Hope in the LORD.

[Psa 39:7 KJV] 7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope [is] in thee.

[Jer 17:7 KJV] 7 Blessed [is] the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.

[Lam 3:24-26 KJV] 24 The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 25 The LORD [is] good unto them that wait for him, to the soul [that] seeketh him. 26 [It is] good that [a man] should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

[Rom 8:24-25 KJV] 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25 But if we hope for that we see not, [then] do we with patience wait for [it].

If man cannot see the LORD and “live”, he should therefore patiently wait for that which he sees not yet hopes for. That is the real hope that saves.

Hope in the LORD, and when that hope (he) comes, it is a Tree of Life.

[Luk 9:23 KJV] 23 And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

[1Co 15:31 KJV] 31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

[Rev 14:13 KJV] 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed [are] the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Then with patience a man takes up his cross to “die daily”, and die in the Lord to rest with works that follow him.

[Jas 4:6-10 KJV] 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded. 9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and [your] joy to heaviness. 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Humble yourself (i.e. deny yourself, take up your cross, and die daily) and purify your hearts of the double mind; because..

[Mat 5:8 KJV] 8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Therefore, those that die in the Lord shall see God because no man see the LORD, and live.

[Eze 11:19 KJV] 19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

A pure heart is one, one with a new spirit.
