How does Christ take part in the “curse?”

Genesis 3:14 “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:”

Genesis 3:17 “And unto Adam he said, because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursedis the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;”

The serpent was cursed because he did something.  And the ground was also cursed because Adam did something.  The serpent is cursed because ...

More on the revealing of the serpent:

Genesis 3:14 “And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:”

It says here that the serpent goes on its belly. The meaning of the word “go” here means to come or go (walk), live or die.  The serpent comes unto us via the “belly” which represents our carnal nature or our sense of carnal understanding and control.  When we are living through the serpent we are living (comingand going) from our belly (carnal wants and ideals, “earthly”, sensual). More on the revealing of the serpent, a metaphorical interpretation of scriptures:

Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!”

Genesis 3:4-5 “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil”

In Genesis, the serpent tells the woman that when she eats of the tree of knowledge her eyes shall be opened and she shall be AS gods. He does not tell her she will be God but only that she will be LIKE God.
